This book is a perfect blend of friends-to-lovers (with the amazing flashbacks) and second-chance romance. Vi and Jami have been best friends since they were six; always choosing each other over everyone else. And as they grew up, their love did too.

Until circumstances came into play and Vi ended up marrying someone else.

Fast-forward and Jami and Vi find themselves in each others’ orbit again. Now, Vi is divorced and Jami can’t seem to stay away. But it’s still not an easy road at first as old wounds are still healing.

There were some pretty steamy scenes paired up with some pretty sweet moments. Because even though these two obviously are still attracted to each other–their friendship and love is what stands out the most.

Their journey back to each other is so beautiful.
