Another wonderful book in the Honey Mountain series by Laura Pavlov! Seriously, I’d never read this author before this series and now I am so hooked!
This story is about Everly, the eldest Thomas sister, out of five. She is the one who’s had the most difficult time dealing with the death of their mother when they were all younger. So she’s been avoiding Honey Mountain and anything that will remind her of her mother for years.
That’s also why she broke up with her childhood sweetheart, Hawk Madden, right after her mother died. That, and the fact that he got signed to an NHL team.
Now, as a sports psychologist, she’s been hired to help Hawk get back to his love of hockey. Of course, this doesn’t come without complications–or fond memories.
Hawk and Everly are such a great couple. There is no doubt of their love for each other after all the years have passed. And the friendship between them is still strong.
One of my favorite parts of this series so far is that the Thomas sisters have such chemistry with each other. They are so funny and so wonderful. You can feel the love between them all.
I am super-excited to read the next story in this fun series!
