A Grand Opening of Sorts

So, if you’re here, you realize you’re probably one of the first. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to get a blog like this up and running. Add on to that a 5-year-old boy, two 2-year-old girls, and a 5-month-old boy, and I just don’t think I thought this one through.
BUT, here I am, going for it because I LOVE this! 🙂 And, I’m starting with a contest. Some “bribery”, if you will. It’ll be easy. It’ll be great. And here are the rewards….

That’s right, I’m giving away two Kindle books by two Indelibles! The first is Become: A Novel of Desolation by Ali Cross and the second is Exiled by Rashelle Workman. If you don’t know who the Indelibles are, you NEED to check them out! Just click on the word Indelibles. I will be reviewing MANY of their books, as I believe they are all very talented.

For this contest, there will be two winners. The first winner gets first choice of which of these two books they’d like. AFTER the contest I will be featuring a review of each of these books, so those of you who HAVEN’T read them, will, hopefully, want to. Details for the contest will be up within a day or two.

Happy reading!!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my book! You're right that having a blog is a lot of work, but it's also so much fun! And a great way to make new friends, too! *waves*

BTW, I have twins too … They are 11 now (boys) but I remember the two-year-old days very well!

Congratulations and good luck with your new blog! Let me know if I can help in any way 🙂

  2. You can SO do this! I'm kind of lying because when I had a five year old boy, 3 year old girl, and two 2 year old boys I did almost nothing but mother all of those kids. 😉
But I KNOW you can do it though.

    And GREAT choices on books!

I'll be *seeing* you around 🙂

  3. Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! 🙂
And how did you survive the two-year-old stage?! Crazy doesn't begin to describe my household!
Anyway, thank you for writing an amazing book, while taking care of twin boys. I don't know how you did it. 🙂

  4. Thank you SO much for the encouragement! Seriously. I decided that this is going to be my "Mommy thing". Something that I enjoy and take time to focus on (after diapers, homeschooling, baby spit, etc…) 😉 I'm so honored that I get to meet so many new people.
    Thanks again! 🙂
