I Swear, I'm Alive!

It’s been a very busy past four or five months for me, to say the least. So, for those of you who’ve noticed that I haven’t been around much–well, I can explain!

Around December of last year, I got a wild hair up my bottom to go back to school. I’ve wanted to go back for awhile to get my degree, but it has just never seemed like a good time. So, I took the plunge and started school in January. Since, right now, our family situation is conducive to furthering my education.

So, I’m back in school, full-time, and loving it!

Given my anti-social, introversion, I’m thoroughly enjoying doing all my schooling online. It gives me the chance to do school but also be here for my kids–whom I’m still homeschooling!

Over the summer, I will have NO break–I’m actually taking nine units over 8 weeks time–and I know I’m crazy. But, my goal is to transfer out of my Community College in a year.

So, this is why I have absolutely such little time for my blog. I’m trying, though! I’m trying to be a better scheduler!

I’m also going to be starting a new blog with a few of my family members–I’m in the process of setting it up right now. I’m still debating on whether or not I’ll be linking the two–more on that later!

The other thing we’re going through–with our growing family–is the need for a larger home.

So, we found one. Well, actually, it’s being built. It’s a WONDERFUL five-bedroom, two-story, with three en suites and SO MUCH ROOM! I can’t even tell you all how much this house is needed for our family! The process is a little more involved this time, though, because we’re having to go and meet with the builders to tell them all we want to do with the house. It’s fun–just time consuming!

So, I will be posting on here as often as I can. I hope you all are having a great spring! It honestly feels like summer here, with temps up into the 100s–I’m doing my best to stay inside.

More to come!

  2. It’s great to hear from you. I’m glad things are going well and congrats on going back to school! That’s wonderful. And the new house sounds like it’s going to be amazing.
