In bestselling author T L Swan’s second hot installment to the Miles High Club series, he’s sexy, rich, and her mortal enemy. Hate never felt so good.
I first met Tristan Miles at a meeting where he was trying to take over my late husband’s company.
He was powerful, arrogant, and infuriatingly gorgeous, and I hated him with every cell in my body. In the shock of the century, he called me three days later and asked me on a date.
I would rather die than date a man like him—though I do have to admit it was good for the ego. Turning him down was the highlight of my year.
Six months later, he was the guest speaker at a conference I attended in France.
Still arrogant and infuriating—but this time, surprisingly charming and witty.
When he looked at me, I got butterflies.
But I can’t go there.
He’s just a player in a hot suit, and I’m just a widow with three unruly sons.
I just need this conference to be over.
Because everybody knows that Tristan Miles always gets what he wants…and what he wants is me.

I absolutely loved that this story featured a “mature” heroine. I mean, she was only late-thirties–but, for romance standards, that’s mature, I guess.

Claire is a widow with three sons and a business that her husband left her. And that business is failing. Enter Tristan. His job entails purchasing failing business from people who can’t fix them. And Claire isn’t having it when he offers to buy her business. In fact, it’s pretty much safe to say that she hates him right from the start–even if she is attracted to him.

And it’s mutual–the attraction, that is.

Tristan and Claire find themselves in the same circles due to their business lives and find it pretty difficult to avoid each other. Until they decide to just have a “fun” weekend with no strings. Because Claire isn’t looking for a younger man who can’t commit and Tristan isn’t looking for a mother–or anyone–to commit to.

These two are fire! And the story is a really sweet, lovely tale of how sometimes, you just can’t help who you fall in love with.

About T.L. Swan

I'm a Psychology student, wife and mother of three based in beautiful Sydney Australia. I work for the Australian Schizophrenia Fellowship.I have always wanted to write, but life had got in the way. I was always too busy, too tired, too unsure of my talent. Last year I finally woke up took the plunge and I am eternally grateful that I did. I am now happily addicted to my writing and love bringing the sexy stories from my head to life with my beautiful characters.

My aim is to write tender, steamy, romantic love stories that stay with you long after you close the book.

  1. haha yeah its not often that we get to see more mature heroines. I love the older ones too or at least ones that are 30 or above. But I struggled with the heroine in this book to be honest, but the HERO is utterly delectable. I am glad that it was such a win for you.
