Stacking the Shelves [18]

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, whether that’s literal shelves or the shelves of your ereader. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I was lucky enough to get these three this month. I LOVE Tessa Bailey! And the other two are a part of Modern Mrs. Darcy’s 2020 Summer Reading Guide. And I’ll be featuring The Jane Austen Society blog tour here, in June! So excited!

Aria’s Travelling Bookshop was one I got DENIED on Netgalley…It was on sale right now, so I just couldn’t resist! 😉 The Landscapes of Anne of Green Gables was a Mother’s Day gift card buy. The Widow of Rose House and Lovely War I purchased on Audible–they’re also featured in the aforementioned Modern Mrs. Darcy 2020 Summer Reading list. Lovely War is the first in the Modern Mrs. Darcy book club.

I have no time for borrows! I’m reading too many other great books!

    • I can’t WAIT to read The Widow of Rose House! I just finished Lovely War and I’m now suffering a book hangover. SOOOOOO good.

I simply loved The Jane Austen Society. I’m listening to the audiobook now and what was good is even better when read by Richard Armitage 😉
You have some very interesting titles there. Can’t wait to hear your thoughhts.

    • AH! I found out AFTER I asked for the paperback that Richard Armitage does the reading for the audio… and now I’m going to have to buy the audio when it comes out! I’m LOVING it so far!

  2. What a wonderful haul! I love Pride and Prejudice, so the Modern Day Mrs. Darcy list sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve been listening to a lot of Audible Books lately, and am excited to see what you end up thinking of Lovely War. I was eyeing that book for my Romanceopoly Challenge. I hope you enjoy all of your new goodies!
