Book Blogger Hop: May 15-21

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy Burgess from Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

Well, technically, I haven’t read it…yet. But, I did just recently buy From Blood and Ash because of the rave reviews that I was seeing everywhere!

  1. I have definitely gotten a push from bloggers to read something that was already on my radar, but recently, I read two books because of Shannon – the Aven Green books. I had never heard of them, and boy! I am glad I took a chance, because they were amazing.

    • I love it when a good rec pans out! I always feel bad when someone recommends a book and I end up not liking it.

  2. TBH, I haven’t read any books lately based on someone’s review. I’ve been mostly sticking to my TBR pile (or not reading at all lol)

I did one click a romance based on Jen – That’s What I’m Talking About’s review but I have no idea when I’ll read it.

    • I get it. I’m reading SOOOOO many different books right now because I’ve got so many reviews that I promised. It’s made me stop and wait before requesting anymore for awhile. 🙂 I can’t wait until I can read a few of my choice! 🙂

  3. Oh yes, yes yes yes. Totally the same! I haven’t read it yet, but I’m planning on it as soon as possible. I never would have heard of this book if it wasn’t for our fellow bloggers.
