Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Another TTT post?! This is crazy! But, this list is another fun, easy one for me seeing as how many books are out there that I want to read! Some of these are going to be repeated from last week’s TTT post, of Book/Series I Own, but Haven’t Read.

Mary Balogh

Arguably, one of the most prolific romance authors–and I’ve read none of her books. This is a travesty! I have many of them on my list and plan on reading at least one, this year.

Tia Louise

I can’t even tell you how many of Tia Louise’s books I have on my TBR. Seriously, I feel like every time she comes out with a new one I add it. So why haven’t I read one yet? I have no clue, to be honest. 🤷‍♀️

Amor Towles

Ever since Amor Towles was recommended to me in one of my old book clubs, I’ve wanted to read his books so badly! Unfortunately, this is a case of just not having enough time.

Sally Thorne

Even before The Hating Game became a movie–I’ve wanted to read it. And now, hearing how well they did it, I can’t wait to read the book first and compare the two. This book features one of my favorite book tropes: Enemies-to-lovers.

Susan Dennard

I’ve owned Truthwitch for years and haven’t read it… And I’m pretty sure the whole series is completed. It’s past time for me to read this one! A little fantasy and YA-goodness; I’m hoping to read this one, this year.

Victoria Aveyard

Another book that I’ve had on my shelves for years… I think I ordered it for $5 when it was on sale, thinking I’d read it when the series was done… Yeah, I still haven’t read it. 😆

Susanna Kearsley

She writes historical and time-travel romance… What else it there to say, really? I don’t think it gets any better! Besides Mariana, I also own The Winter Sea. Can’t wait to read these!

Renee Ahdieh

I can honestly say this is a book that I’ve been incredibly eager to read for a long time. A retelling, of sorts, of One Thousand One Arabian Nights, this book sounds thrilling and romantic!

Laini Taylor

I mentioned last week that so many people love this book and there’s no reason why I haven’t read it yet. So, Strange the Dreamer is another that I plan on tackling this year!

  Jennifer E. Smith

Another book that I’ve owned for years, I tried starting this one last year and then had to put it down because I got bogged down by all the other review books I had to read. However, there are so many of Smith’s books I’d like to read besides this one–her new novel, The Unsinkable Greta James, among them.

Please link to your TTT post or tell me some of the authors you’d like to read, in the comments! I can’t wait to see which authors that you would like to read.

  1. Oh Top Ten Tuesdays are the best!! I never get bored of it and try to participate as much as I can.

A Gentleman in Moscow is a wonderful read! One of my favorites for sure. I do hope you get to enjoy it soon.

Laini Taylor must be somewhere on my TBR as well, just need to go and dig a bit…

    Happy TTT!

Laini Taylor’s books have been a bit of hit and miss for me, some I’ve really enjoyed, some I’ve really not liked. I’ve enjoyed Susan Dennard’s Truthwitch series, though mainly for the characters, the world is a little confusing! Victoria Aveyard, I gave up after the second book in the Red Queen series, I liked the first one well enough, but I found the second really bad.

    • Ohhh, good to know! You know, I think I’ve heard others say the same about the Red Queen series. I guess we’ll see! 🙂

  3. Great list! I’ve read A Gentleman in Moscow and Rules of Civility by Towles and I enjoyed both of them! I just finally read The Hating Game a few weeks ago, and I would say move it up to the top of your tbr!! I loved it so much. I couldn’t believe I’d waited so long to read it once I picked it up. 😉 Happy Reading!

    • Oh, geez–well, now, I know what I’ll be reading soon! As soon as I finish a couple of the books I’m reading right now, The Hating Game is my next pick!
